Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center and Lincoln Tubman Foundation receive grants

CHARLESTON, S.C. January 28, 2020 — The Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center and Lincoln Tubman Foundation were awarded two federal grants, allowing tri-county residents to have more resources to fight human trafficking.
Known for their work with child victims of human trafficking, the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center was awarded a 3-year grant of $499,105 from the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC).
The Lincoln Tubman Found also received a 3-year grant from the OVC for $549,345 to help further initiatives of the Tri-County Human Trafficking Task Force.
The grant would allow both organizations to have more resources to expand response services and support community outreach.
